BlockComp was born out of the need to address these challenges. Our goal is to help blockchain organisations succeed by providing customized compensation solutions that encourage growth and innovation. With relevant experience in rewards and talent strategy, our founding members bring solid understanding and practical insights in the blockchain industry.

Alexis
With over a decade in compensation and benefits, Alexis Morin has advised leading organizations across crypto, fintech, gaming, advertising, and consulting. He specializes in designing global rewards systems, managing equity/token plans, and optimizing compensation strategies for innovative industries.
At Binance, he led compensation for Engineering, Product, Fiat, and Marketing teams across 80 countries, overseeing executive pay, international mobility, and EMEA compensation. He co-created a compensation strategy that helped recruit 2,000+ employees in under a year.
Previously, at Voodoo, he built the total rewards strategy from scratch, scaling the company from 100 employees in 3 countries to 700 in 15, driving efficient growth across EMEA and APAC.
From 2014 to 2018, he honed his expertise at Criteo and Publicis Groupe, managing global equity plans for executives and employees.
Alexis holds an MBA in Compensation & Benefits, a Master’s in HR Management, and a Compensation & Benefits certification from Cornell University, reinforcing his commitment to best-in-class reward strategies.


William
With over 10 years of experience in compensation and benefits, Willy has worked across diverse industries, managing all aspects of total rewards, including job evaluations, salary structures, payroll cost management, and benefits programs.
Since 2024, he has specialized in the cryptocurrency industry, crafting compensation strategies, leveraging market intelligence for competitive pay insights, enhancing remote contributor well-being and ensuring financial stability.
Prior to freelancing, Willy spent seven years at L’Oréal, contributing to the Luxury division and the French market, where his work impacted over 2,000 employees. He was involved in developing competitive pay strategies, optimizing payroll processes, and ensuring alignment with business and social policies. His work also involved managing international mobility and streamlining compensation frameworks.
From 2012 to 2014, he worked as a consultant at Aon Hewitt, advising major firms like Sony and Ubisoft. There, he designed compensation tools, conducted benchmarking analyses, and led training sessions on rewards strategies.
Willy holds a master’s degree in human resources and earned a Compensation & Benefits certification from Cornell University in 2024.
